Praca: Senior Fullstack PHP Developer
Software Developer at Objectivity works as a member of our Agile team alongside with a Technical Architect, Quality Engineers, Business Analyst and a Project Manager to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions to our clients. Each and every team adapts its ways of working accordingly, which they consider the most effective way of working with a specific client and project. In this way, you learn not only different technology set-ups but also new and innovative ways of working.
We believe in engineers who specialise in one field but at the same time have broad knowledge of technology as a whole in order to be ready to deliver both back-end and front-end code and to find themselves in the DevOps culture with automation as the first priority. Close collaboration and direct communication with other team members and the client is an important part of our delivery process. If you believe that quality is the responsibility of the whole team, you have some commercial and delivery awareness and if SOLID principles are your bread and butter, then you will be more than happy working with us.
- Maintaining and improving our client’s website by delivering new agile and customer centric features in collaboration with the product and marketing team
- Cooperating with the whole team and suggesting and developing new features using Java Script, PHP7, html5, css3, Twig, Jade and SCSS
- Planning and implementing improvements in the continuous delivery process; monitoring, alerting
- Maintaining cohesive user experience and technological solutions with our client’s customers website
- Supporting the teams by creating new landing pages, by fixing bugs, implementing features, improving performance
- 5 years of professional experience with PHP and frontend technologies
- Experience with html5, css, java script and MySql
- Working experience with Jenkins, Spinnaker or CircleCI (or other CI/CD tools)
- Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritise
- Good command of General English, knowledge of German is an advantage
- Very good knowledge of Laravel and Symfony running on Docker
- Practical knowledge of agile product development and engineering practices such as TDD or reactive programming
- Willingness to cooperate closely with non-technical team members (such as designers or marketers)
- Professional approach to work; strong sense of responsibility to the customer
- Experience with AWS services would be an asset
